Welcome to GrantDraft ("GrantDraft", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GrantDraft website, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
GrantDraft is an AI-assisted drafting tool that helps nonprofit organizations produce first drafts of grant proposals. The Service generates suggested text based on information you provide. All output is a draft and must be reviewed, edited, and verified by a qualified human before submission to any funder.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; you agree to Stripe's terms when paying.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to create content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.
- Submit AI-generated content to a funder without human review and verification.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Use the Service to impersonate another organization or person.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of any information you submit to the Service ("Your Content") and of the drafts the Service generates from it. You grant GrantDraft a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. AI Output Disclaimer
AI output can contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. GrantDraft does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or grant-winning quality of any draft. You are solely responsible for verifying all facts, statistics, citations, budgets, and claims before submitting anything to a funder.
7. No Professional Advice
GrantDraft is a software tool. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice. Consult qualified professionals for those matters.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrantDraft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of grant funding, profits, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrantDraft from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
