Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

We want GrantDraft to be useful for your nonprofit. This page explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work.

Free Trial

Every new account gets one full grant proposal free. No credit card is required. The trial gives you a real feel for the Service before you decide to upgrade.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your account. When you cancel:

  • Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged again.
  • You keep access to all grants you've created.

Refunds

Because GrantDraft offers a free trial that lets you fully evaluate the Service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

We will issue a refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charge. If you were charged twice or signed up by mistake and have not used the Service, contact us within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Service outage. If a sustained outage prevents you from using the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours, we'll credit or refund a prorated portion of your bill on request.
  • Billing error on our side. Always — just email us and we'll fix it.

Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry over the next several days and email you. Your account stays active during a short grace period so you don't lose access.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@getgrantdraft.com from the address on your account with your request. We respond within 2 business days.
